The 2007, 2008, and 2012 Wranglers, especially, are known for being some of the least reliable models of the SUV. The 2007 Wrangler had problems with steering, airbag failures, and the well-known wobbling issue, which would make the car sway from side to side at times. The 2008 Wrangler faced similar issues and failed to rectify the problems carried over from the previous model year. Consequently, many of these vehicles were recalled due to fundamental flaws in their design. Likewise, the 2012 Wrangler also suffered from the wobbling problem, even though it addressed some other issues like airbag deployment failures. However, the persistent wobbling issue remains unresolved, rendering it not a recommended choice today.
