Locate the transmission fluid reservoir, which should be near the transmission, and find the dipstick. Remove it, wipe it clean, reinsert it, and pull it out again. Take note of the fluid level indicated on the dipstick and add the necessary amount to fill the reservoir using a funnel. It's okay to be slightly below full, but avoid overfilling. Once filled, close the reservoir and you're good to go.
