Why are the dashboard lights on my Volkswagen T5 not functioning properly?

In the Volkswagen T5, if the dash lights are not working, it could be because the dimmer switch is turned down. Look for the button usually located near the headlight switch to make sure it's not the cause. The dash lights are powered by fuses and bulbs, which may need to be checked. Check the #32 fuse in the fuse box under the van's cupholder specifically for the dash lights. If the van's headlights are working but the driver's information center is dark, a blown #32 fuse could be the issue. Additionally, if the bulbs under the T5's gauges are not working, you may need to replace them. Remove the driver's panel, unscrew and check the bulbs for any filament damage or faulty wiring.
