Several factors may lead to the heated seats in a 2016 Ford F-150 not functioning properly. The initial step is to verify if the seat heaters are receiving power, as it could be a simple issue like a disconnected connector underneath the seat. Make sure the grey two-pin connector is securely plugged in and inspect the pins for any damage such as bending or corrosion. If everything appears fine with the connector, check the fuse box to ensure the fuse is undamaged. Additionally, a faulty temperature sensor might be providing erroneous data to the computer, resulting in the heaters malfunctioning or not operating at all.

If the heated seats in the 2016 Ford F150 aren't functioning, it may be due to a blown fuse, faulty wiring beneath the seat, or a malfunctioning thermostat.

I own a 2015 F-150 truck that's experiencing a similar problem. After looking into it extensively on the internet, I discovered that Ford has a major problem with the ground melting near the connection point of the wiring harness to the heated seat control module. A better harness is available for you to add in that should probably resolve the problem, unless the heat also harmed the control module.
