There is a 40-amp fuse on the battery that may go bad.

I fixed the alternator three months ago and the issue seemed to go away. Suddenly, the battery light has reappeared out of nowhere. I've confirmed that my battery is in good condition and that my alternator is charging properly. However, the battery light turns on again just 3 minutes after starting the van.

The issue lies within the multiplug wiring, where one of the wires is likely damaged. This results in the alternator defaulting to a charge of 154 volts due to its intelligent charging system. If the ECU fails to send a signal indicating the charging rate, or if the exciter wire is severed, the alternator cannot function properly. Typically, this problem occurs near the radiator due to frayed wires.
