In a 2010 Chevy Malibu, the main reason the instrument cluster might stop working is usually due to a blown fuse. This car has three fuse boxes located in different areas - the engine compartment, passenger compartment, and cargo area. The specific fuse box to check for this issue is in the cargo area, which you can reach by opening a panel in the trunk on the driver's side. If a blown fuse is not the culprit, it is advisable to inspect the interior lights connections, as there could be a minor wiring problem that needs attention. In rarer cases, the entire instrument cluster may require replacement, which can be a pricey fix costing around $920 to $960, with labor typically ranging between $70 to $100.

The issue was with the positive battery terminal being loose. Once the terminal was tightened, the problem was resolved.

My group of electronic components is not functioning properly. I have checked all the fuses and battery cables, and they appear to be in good condition. I also attempted to replace the bcm, but that did not solve the issue. If you have any advice or suggestions, please let me know.

So, I looked at the fuses inside my car and in the trunk and they were all okay. Then, I only had to inspect the fusebox under the hood. That's when I saw that one of the terminals on my battery was a bit loose. I tightened it up and everything started working fine without any more issues.
