One of the most common reasons why the keyless entry on a 2015 Honda Civic might stop working is due to a dead battery in the key fob. To replace the battery, you'll need to open up the key fob, which can usually be done by using a coin or screwdriver to open the battery cover. Inside, you'll find a silver button-like battery that needs to be replaced with a matching one based on the numbers labeled on it. If replacing the battery doesn't solve the issue, the key fob itself may be damaged. The key fob's internal circuit board, located on the other side of the thin plastic shell, is delicate and can be damaged if something heavy is placed on it, like a book. Water damage is another potential cause for the circuit board to malfunction and stop transmitting signals.
