All key fobs utilize a CR2032 battery, which is a small, coin-shaped battery typically priced around $5 each. You can purchase these batteries at the same locations where usual batteries are sold. To replace the battery, you will have to take off the back panel of the key fob. The method of removing the back panel can vary depending on the type of fob you have; some may have a sliding mechanism, while others may require unscrewing a couple of tiny screws. These screws are easily removed with a small screwdriver. Just swap out the old battery with a new one once the back panel is off, and you should be good to go.
