If your Mitsubishi Canter is not starting, there could be several reasons for this issue. Some common causes include a drained battery, problems with the alternator, or a faulty starter. The first step is to check for power by turning on the headlights; if they illuminate, that indicates power is reaching the vehicle. Next, you can test the alternator by charging the dead battery to see if it can hold a charge. Then, consider the starter; signs of a malfunctioning starter may include illuminated lights but no engine turnover or a clicking noise when attempting to start the car. These steps can help you identify and resolve the problem causing your car not to start.
I'm not sure if you can assist, but I own a Mitsubishi 4x4 Canter with a 3.9L engine and an electric control unit (EMU). I never had any issues until recently. The problem is that it won't start, even though I have new batteries and the alternator is good. When I did manage to get it running, it would cut out when idling below 1000rpm and lacked power. Now, I can't get it to start again. I've cleaned the fuel lines, checked the fuel pump, cleaned the tanks, and replaced all the terminals. It's a 2007 model with only 90,000 kilometers on it. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Cheers!

I've been trying for days to program a key with a locksmith for my Mitsubishi car since I don't have a key. However, it seems impossible to make a key for it.
While there are numerous causes for your Mitsubishi not starting, the top three common issues are a drained battery, a faulty alternator, or a malfunctioning starter.
