Cherokee Media Group (CMG) recently selected EpicVIN as an honoree of the highly coveted 2023 Emerging 8 award program that recognizes companies that improve a specific aspect of the automotive industry through technology. EpicVIN was honored by the Emerging 8 award program for setting new standards for excellence in the automotive industry and pushing the boundaries of innovation.
The Emerging 8 award program, developed in 2018, honors companies that improve a specific aspect of the automotive industry through technology. The award recipients were initially recommended to CMG for consideration by industry leaders for being at the forefront of automotive innovation and technology development. Each of the companies selected represent diverse areas of the automotive industry.
Cherokee Media Group (CMG) formally recognized EpicVIN and the other Emerging 8 award recipients during an awards luncheon held in their honor at the Auto Intel Summit in Raleigh, N.C. CEO Jurgis Plikaitis and Chief Business Development Officer Alex Miles were in attendance at the event to receive the award and were happy to build new connections and share their insight with others in the automotive industry.
In conjunction with receiving the honor, the EpicVIN logo was featured on the cover of the April edition of Auto Fin Journal, along with an interview with the CEO Jurgis Plikaitis featured inside.
According to Plikaitis, the credibility and availability of data are critical to its operations, which is why finding reliable data partners who provide them with high-quality and reliable data is at the forefront of their priorities. The vehicle history reports that EpicVIN provides are powered by a National Motor Vehicle Title Information System (NMVTIS)-approved data provider.
EpicVIN also offers customers car market predictive tools that evaluate suggested buying prices based on availability, market price fluctuations, and time from list of sale, so they can stay ahead of the curve by making data-driven decisions about potential purchases and dealership inventory. Through partnerships with data partners who provide high-quality and reliable data, EpicVIN is able to ensure that their vehicle history reports, and predictive tools are accurate, up-to-date, and provide real value to customers.
The EpicVIN team, comprised of professionals with diverse backgrounds and extensive experience, has been critical to the company’s success by bringing a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the table.
“We recognize that our team is one of our most valuable assets,” Plikaitis said. “Our team includes individuals who have worked in various roles in the used car industry, including used car deals, car auctioneers, and data engineers. This range of experience has given us a unique understanding of each aspect of the industry, from the perspective of car buying consumers, dealers, repair shops, financing companies and insurance providers.”
In order to continue on a positive trajectory and meet future objectives, the company will continue to focus on acquiring and leveraging high-quality data sources. According to Jurgis Plikaitis, data is at the core of their business, and the quality and reliability of data is critical to its success and customer satisfaction.
