In some cases, issues with the moonroof on a 2017 Ford F-150 might be caused by a corroded latch, making it difficult to close. Another potential problem could be a blown fuse, preventing the roof from closing. To access the fuse box, check to the left of the steering wheel for a small seam or crack in the dashboard. Use a screwdriver or prybar to open this panel. Inside, you will find several fuses. Look on the back of the panel for a diagram indicating the purpose of each fuse. If the diagram is not there, refer to the owner's manual. Identify the faulty fuse and remove it. A working fuse should have a thin metal strip connecting the two raised sections. If this strip is broken, the fuse needs replacing. If the strip is intact, the fuse is fine and can be reinserted. Replacement fuses are inexpensive, costing around $10.
