The Chevy Blazer's fuel filter can be found underneath the vehicle, connected to the gas tank at the back and running towards the front of the car. Look for a small, bright silver metal cylinder along this line – that's the fuel filter. It is secured onto the fuel rail with bolts and brackets that can be easily removed. If you need to replace the fuel filter, expect to pay around $200 for the part and an additional $100 for a mechanic to install it. If the filter fails, you may experience engine performance issues like rough running and hesitation.
In a Chevy Blazer from 2001, you can find the fuel filter on the left side of the frame rail, situated between the gas tank and the engine compartment.
