To take out the rear seats of a Ford Transit Connect, it's a pretty straightforward process. Use the rear hatch to remove them as it can be tricky to get them out over the second row. Start by inspecting the carpet and removing the plastic covers over the seat rails. Next, unscrew the bolts securing the seat rails down using a compact impact gun or a ratchet. After removing all four bolts, you can take out the seat assembly. To avoid damaging the threads or misplacing the bolts, it's a good idea to put the bolts back in the holes they came from.
