Start by turning the key to the ON position, which is before starting the engine. Then press the accelerator pedal to the floor of the vehicle and release it three times within five seconds. After that, turn the key to the OFF position and start the engine. If the light turns off, the oil life has been reset to 100%. If it remains on, repeat the process.
