In the 2019 Chrysler 300, you can choose from three different engines. The 3.6L V6 and 3.6L V6 Flex Fuel both require 5.9 quarts of SAE 5W-20 full synthetic motor oil. The larger 5.7L V8 needs 7.0 quarts of the same oil. If you don't have SAE 5W-20, you can use SAE 5W-30 temporarily, but it's not ideal. While the 5W-30 oil may be cheaper, its thicker consistency can cause engine damage over time. It's best to stick to the manufacturer's recommendation of using 5W-20 for long-term savings and optimal engine performance.
