Make sure you've used synthetic SAE 0W-20 motor oil and a new filter when servicing your 2015 Toyota RAV4 to keep that maintenance light in check. Sit in the driver's seat, turn the key to start the car, and hit DISP until you see TRIP A on the odometer screen. Turn off the vehicle, then hold down DISP while turning the ignition to the accessory position. Keep holding DISP until you see dashes on the screen reduce to all zeros, then release the button. Restart the car and you'll notice the Maintenance Required light is now off, staying that way for the next 5000 miles.
To clear the maintenance reminder on a 2015 Toyota RAV4, start by turning the key to the on position and adjust the odometer to display "odo". Turn the key off, then press and hold the trip reset button while turning the key back to on.
To turn off the maintenance light on a 2015 rav4 3.6L, switch to trip A with the ignition on, press and hold the display button, turn off the vehicle, then turn the ignition back on, and the light should reset.
