One relates to a problem with the governor pressure solenoid valve on the 48RE transmission (found in the high-output Diesel version), while the other points to issues with the transmission cooler filter on the 545RFE. While these problems may not affect every vehicle, potential buyers of a used vehicle without these repairs should exercise caution. These issues, while not overly severe, can lead to slippage between first and second gear and delayed gear engagement.
