Here's a more unique version: To reset the anti-theft system on your 2017 Ram 1500, there are several approaches you can take. One method involves standing a good distance from the truck for around 15 minutes after making sure all doors and windows are shut, then unlocking the driver door. Another option is to hold down the panic button on your key fob for about 5 seconds, followed by pressing the lock button twice and waiting for 10 minutes from at least 10 feet away. Pressing the unlock button twice should result in a horn beep and the security light turning off. If these steps don't do the trick, you can attempt a soft reboot by pulling the PCM fuse, which can be found in cavity F72 near the battery in the engine compartment.
To reprogram the security system of a 2007 Dodge Ram, insert the key into the driver's side door lock, unlock the door, lock it, and then unlock it once more.
Bring the car to the junkyard for crushing.
