In 2017, some Nissan Rogue owners have reported issues with the car radio randomly shutting off or experiencing connectivity problems. These issues can affect the sound quality, whether they originate from the stereo's speakers or a connected phone. Quick resolution of these problems is necessary. Speaker-related issues may include static noise, intermittent shutdowns, wiring problems, or a blown fuse. On the other hand, phone-related issues could involve software update failures, sync problems with the vehicle, low phone battery, or signal interference.
It's really terrible. The sound system in my basic model Rogue is essentially trash. The vocals sound muffled, as if they're underwater. Cranking up the volume on a good song is not even a possibility, as the sound quality deteriorates significantly. I took it to the dealer, but they said it's apparently normal.
