Every now and then, you'll need to update the MyLink system in your 2019 Chevrolet Equinox. The good news is that it's a breeze to do so; the vehicle will automatically update if there's a new one available when you start it up. No need for you to do anything, and there's no need to make an expensive trip to the dealership like with some other cars. If you suspect there's an update you missed, just go to SETTINGS on your MyLink touch screen, then navigate to SOFTWARE INFORMATION and select SYSTEM UPDATE. If there are no updates, you'll see a message saying "You have the latest software." Keeping your system up to date is crucial because Chevrolet occasionally releases bug fixes and security patches for the MyLink interface.
