In 2017, if you experience steering issues with your Kia Sorento due to low power steering fluid, you can resolve it by following these steps. Begin by locating the clear plastic container under the hood near the window. Use a pump to completely remove the old fluid from the container. When the fluid level is low, turn the steering wheel all the way to one side and then to the other to drain the fluid. Empty the container once again and only fill it up to the recommended full line. After replacing the fluid, allow some time for the steering wheel to become easier to turn; you can confirm the effectiveness by driving for about 20 minutes.
If your 2017 Kia Sorento is facing steering rack issues, you may notice a stiff steering wheel, power steering fluid leaks, and a grinding sound while steering. Additionally, there could be a noticeable burning odor.
