To reset the TPMS on your 2012 Dodge Ram 1500 as an American, you'll first make sure your ignition is set to the ON position. Remember not to start the engine until directed. Hold down the TPMS Reset button until you see the light blink three times. Then start your engine and let it run for at least 20 minutes. Take a 10-minute drive in your Ram at 50 mph or more. Once you've finished, you're all set to head home. Turn off the engine, and your TPMS light should be successfully reset.
I own a 2012 Ram 1500 Express, but I can't seem to locate a reset button. I wonder if it's possible that this model doesn't have one. Thanks!
To recalibrate the tire pressure monitor system on your 2012 Dodge Ram 1500, turn the key to the "on" position and press the TPMS button, typically found below the dashboard, until the TPMS indicator flashes multiple times. After starting your truck and allowing it to run for at least 20 minutes, the TPMS system should be successfully reset.
