To reset the tpms on your 2011 Volkswagen Routan, you need to start by ensuring the tire pressure is correct at 36 psi for both front and rear tires. There are a couple of methods you can use for resetting it. The first option is to drive the vehicle for at least 20 minutes at speeds above 15 mph. If that doesn't work, find a safe spot to park and turn the ignition on. Use the Multi-function Indicator (MFI) to access the SETTINGS menu, choose tire pressure, and save and confirm the current tire pressures. Afterwards, drive the vehicle for another 20 minutes at speeds over 15 mph.
I feel kinda lost because I can't find the "SETTINGS" option on the multi-function switch. I'm trying to figure out how to reset the TPMS light on my dashboard after getting new tires installed. I know the tire pressures are fine, but I can't seem to find the right way to reset it.
To clear the TPMS light on a 2011 VW Routan, simply press and hold the TPMS reset button located on the dashboard.
