The 2018 INFINITI QX60 comes with remote start functionality, but over time, the battery powering it will require replacement every 50,000 to 60,000 miles. While this upkeep may involve some cost, it is essential to ensure your vehicle stays operational. Issues with the battery can arise during the car's lifespan, such as leaks leading to fluid spillage or complete drainage. Quick drainage can necessitate immediate recharging or replacement, and a cracked case may also require full replacement.
I have a 2018 Infiniti QX60, but I'm not sure if it's the Luxe or Pure model. My key fob doesn't have the remote start feature. How can I determine if my SUV is equipped with this option?
In the 2018 Infiniti QX60, you can use the remote start feature from a distance of up to 200 feet. To start the vehicle remotely, simply press the LOCK button on your key fob, then within 5 seconds press and hold the ENGINE START button for two seconds. The parking lights will turn on, indicating that the engine is running along with the Automatic climate control system. The car will continue to run for 10 minutes before automatically shutting off if you do not enter it. You can repeat the process to extend the running time.
