In a 2010 Cadillac SRX, it is recommended to use DEXRON-Vi Automatic Transmission Fluid for the power steering system. The reservoir has both minimum and maximum level marks, so when adding fluid, ensure it does not go over the maximum line. This fluid is vital for transferring power in the steering system, making it easier to turn the wheels. To check the fluid level, first turn off the vehicle and allow it to cool down. Wipe clean the reservoir cap to prevent dirt from entering. Remove the cap, clean the dipstick, replace and tighten the cap, then remove it again to check the fluid level on the dipstick.
The suitable power steering fluid for the 2010 Cadillac SRX is Atf4.
