To find the air filter in the Super Duty truck, open the door on the passenger side and look underneath the glove compartment for a black plastic cover secured by a single screw. Remove the cover to access the air filter. Locating the air filter in the Super Duty may be a bit challenging. While earlier models may not have come with an air filter, the 2006 Super Duty F-250 does have one. If you want to replace the filter, simply take out the old one and install a new one. You can buy a quality air filter from Ford or other trusted brands. It's recommended to change your air filter every 25,000 to 30,000 miles.
