In the 2009 Chevy Silverado, the oil pressure sensor is situated at the upper rear of the engine, on the passenger's side. To locate it easily, stand at the front of your truck and open the hood. Then, inspect the engine compartment towards the rear, above the different engine parts. The sensor can be found at the top back of the engine on the left side, attached directly to the engine block using bolts. This sensor is connected to the ECM and electrical parts of your Silverado.
