Toyota recommends that you bring your 2012 4Runner in for service every 5,000 miles. There are various tasks that need to be completed at different intervals throughout the life of your SUV. For instance, changing the oil and checking all the fluids should be done every 5,000 miles. At 15,000 miles, the cabin air filter should be replaced and driveline components should be inspected and lubricated. When your vehicle reaches 30,000 miles, it's time to replace the transmission fluid and inspect the lines and belts for any signs of wear or looseness. Finally, once your 4Runner hits 120,000 miles, the spark plugs will need to be replaced.
