The recommended engine oil for the 2016 Kia Sedona is Mobil 1 Extended Performance Synthetic Motor Oil 5W-30. If you are changing the oil, make sure the car has been parked and cooled off for a few hours to avoid getting burned. Locate the oil pan and drain plug underneath the engine. Place a bucket under the plug, remove it, and let the old oil drain out completely, which may take about an hour. Once it stops dripping, reattach the drain plug. Next, find the intake port on top of the oil pan and use a funnel to fill it with oil up to the full mark. Avoid overfilling to prevent leaks and oil burn off. After filling, close the port, clean up any spills, and your oil change is complete.
