The 2005 Ford F-150 utilizes an H13 or 9008 headlight bulb, which is a standard halogen bulb that doesn't need any special ballast to function. If you observe that the headlights aren't working on your truck, the first step is to check the fuses. Following that, inspect the wiring at the headlight assembly to ensure it's secure. If everything checks out, you'll likely need to replace the bulb as they can burn out over time, just like any regular light bulb. To do so, unscrew the access panel on the back of the headlight, remove the old bulb, install the new one using the spring clip system, and connect it properly.

The accurate bulb is 9007.
