The 2013 Kia Sorento has lug nuts with a 19mm hex head size and M12 X1.50 threads. When putting them on, make sure the tapered end faces the rim. Putting them on the wrong way can lead to the wheel breaking at the stud, causing vibrations. Over time, this vibration can result in a broken wheel stud, possibly causing the wheel to fall off and lead to a serious accident. Each tire requires 5 lug nuts tightened to 85 foot pounds. Start by snugly fitting the lug nuts, then tighten them in a crisscross pattern until they are correctly torqued.
