In 2014, the Hyundai Sonata comes with a 58-inch by 27-inch windshield. It has an 18-inch wiper blade for the passenger side and a 26-inch blade for the driver's side. When replacing the wiper blades, lift them halfway up the window to make it easier to access and protect the glass by placing a piece of cardboard in between. Press the middle of the assembly where the blade connects to the arm, and unhook it. Then, slide the new blade onto the hook until you hear a clicking sound. Repeat this step for any other blades. Signs that you should replace the Sonata's wipers include reduced visibility, noticeable rubber wear, or smearing during use. The cost of replacing the actual windshield ranges from $150 to $330 for parts only, excluding installation costs.
