In 2018, the Subaru Outback requires a 26-inch wiper blade for the driver's side and a 17-inch blade for the passenger's side. When changing your wipers, position them halfway across your windshield and pull the arms away from the glass. Make sure to buy wipers with small hook attachments, as that's the type your car uses. To remove the old blades, locate a latch or button to press, then slide off the worn blades. For the new blades, insert the arm through the front hole of the adapter, push the blade onto the arm hook, and listen for a click. Once you hear or feel that click, your new wipers are securely installed.
