The 2019 Toyota Tacoma comes with H11 high beam bulbs and H9 low beam bulbs. Replacing the bulbs in your pickup truck can be easily done as a DIY project. Begin by lifting the hood and securing it with a safety strut so that you can reach the back of the headlight. Find the light plug on the driver's side behind the headlight in the engine compartment. Rotate the harness to remove the old bulb and disconnect the cable. Insert the new bulb from behind the headlight, rotate it to secure it in place, and then reconnect it to the factory cable. Repeat this process for the passenger side. Some truck owners upgrade to LED lights to give their vehicle a more modern and stylish appearance on the road.
In the 2019 Toyota Tacoma, H11 bulbs are used for the low beam headlights, while H9 bulbs are used for the high beams.
According to the owner's manual, H11 corresponds to low beams, while H9 corresponds to high beams. H11 also indicates wide-angle fog beams, whereas H16 is used for normal fog beams.
