The spare tire for the 2011 Hyundai Sonata is a T125/80D16. It can be found in the trunk below the liner along with the necessary tools for replacement. The tools are stored in a foam organizer located in the center of the spare tire. To remove the spare tire, lift out the toolkit and then turn the plastic retainer counterclockwise until it can be removed. Place the jack in the correct lifting point for the tire that needs to be changed. Before lifting the tire off the ground, loosen all the lug nuts, but do not remove them completely. Continue lifting the car and then remove all the lug nuts before taking off the tire. Position the spare tire onto the wheel and attach the lug nuts with the tapered end facing towards the wheel. Tighten the lug nuts in a crisscross pattern to ensure the wheel goes on evenly.
The 2011 Hyundai Sonata's spare tire has a diameter of 16 inches.
