The 2007 Ford F-150 has two camshaft position sensors - one is located on the front side of the cylinder head under the timing belt cover, and the other can be found on the right side of the engine compartment near the rear of the valve cover by the intake manifold. Spark plugs usually need replacement every 100,000 miles unless they are copper ones, which need to be changed every 30,000 miles. The air filter should be replaced every 15,000 to 30,000 miles, while the coolant should be refreshed every 60,000 miles. Various engine issues may arise, such as loose gaskets needing tightening, spark plugs popping off causing problems, and the serious risk of engine overheating leading to fires or explosions. Excessive oil consumption might necessitate changing the oil more frequently than usual, and any oil leaks should be promptly repaired.
