To locate the oxygen sensor in a 2016 Chevy Malibu, refer to this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W1UiqQ1kPDA Spark plugs typically need replacement every 100,000 miles, except for copper ones, which should be replaced every 30,000 miles. Air filters should be replaced every 15,000 to 30,000 miles, while coolant should be replaced every 60,000 miles. Engine problems may arise, such as loose gaskets that need tightening, spark plugs popping off causing issues, and the serious risk of engine overheating leading to fires or explosions. Keep an eye out for excessive oil consumption, oil leaks, which should be addressed promptly.
Oxygen sensors are positioned in the exhaust system, typically with one sensor located before the catalytic converter and usually one in each exhaust manifold.
