The tire and wheel size of your 2018 Jeep Compass will vary depending on the trim level you choose. For the Sport edition, you'll get 215/65R16 tires and 16-inch diameter wheels with a width of 6.5 inches. The Trailhawk comes with 215/65R17 tires and 17-inch diameter wheels with the same width. The Latitude models have 225/60R17 tires but use the same wheel size as the Trailhawk. The largest models, Altitude and Limited, feature 225/55R18 tires and 18-inch diameter wheels with a width of 7 inches. The suggested tire pressure for all trims is 35 psi on each of the four tires.
The 2018 Jeep Compass comes with 18-inch silver aluminum wheels as standard. It is advisable to maintain the tire pressure at 35 pounds per square inch (psi) for both the front and rear tires. The front tire size is 225/55R18, and the rear tire size is also 225/55R18.
In 2018, my Compass Latitude has tires sized 225/60 R17 with recommended tire pressures of 35 lbs for the front and 32 lbs for the rear. It has a 5 lug pattern, but when I purchased it, it had low profile tires and rims that looked like plastic. Unfortunately, the right front rim is bent and not safe to drive on, so I am searching for OEM rims to replace it. I am unsure about how wide of a tire I can use. Any advice on how I can determine the maximum tire width for my vehicle? The tire size and pressure information was obtained from the sticker inside my car door jamb.
