Make sure to fill your tires to 35 pounds per square inch (PSI) in both the front and back. Having the correct tire pressure is important because it impacts how smoothly your tires turn. Over-inflating or under-inflating your tires can cause issues. Too much air can make your tires burst, while too little air can affect handling. When your tires are below the recommended pressure, your fuel efficiency can decrease. Keeping your tires close to the suggested pressure is a good idea. If your tire pressure is too high, it's easy to release some air.
The recommended tire pressure for a 2009 Chevy Silverado is 35 pounds per square inch.
