The P0106 code on your Chevy Cruze indicates an issue with the MAP sensor, a faulty PCM, or a leak in the air intake system between the MAF and the intake manifold. A common and simple solution suggested by other Chevy Cruze owners is to connect the small black hose under the intake to the nipple. The MAP sensor, located near the intake manifold, monitors pressure levels within the manifold. If the MAP sensor is malfunctioning, you may notice decreased fuel efficiency, difficulties starting the vehicle, rough idling, and stalling. Replacing the MAP sensor could cost you between $96 and $108 with labor included. If the trouble code persists, it may be worth investigating the PCM as another potential culprit.
The Chevy Cruze error code p0106 indicates an issue with the Manifold Air Pressure (MAP) Barometric Pressure Sensor's electric circuit output range and performance.
