To replace the battery in a 2014 Honda CR-V key fob, you will need a MINI Phillips head screwdriver. Flip the fob over and use the screwdriver to unscrew the screw on the back in a counterclockwise direction. Next, carefully pry apart the top and bottom halves of the fob by inserting a small flat blade screwdriver in the slot on one side and twisting it. Continue working around the edges until the two pieces separate. Then, use the same screwdriver to slide under the battery and pop it out. When inserting the new battery, make sure the positive side is facing downwards.
