Are you wondering which coolant is best for your 2019 Jeep Cherokee? The recommended coolant for this vehicle is the Mopar Antifreeze/Coolant 10 Year/150,000 Mile Formula OAT. If this coolant is not available or is out of your price range, there are some alternative options to consider. These include Peak 1 Gallon Orange Concentrate Coolant/Antifreeze, Prestone 1 Gallon Yellow Concentrate Coolant/Antifreeze, or ZereX 1 Gallon Yellow Concentrate Coolant/Antifreeze. Coolant is essential for preventing engine overheating or freezing. It is advisable to regularly check the coolant level and top it up when needed.
Your 2019 Jeep Cherokee is designed to run on orange, long-lasting oat antifreeze in the engine.
I'm a bit confused. I own a 2019 Jeep Cherokee V6 with 35,000 miles that I bought from Hertz rental car. It has orange antifreeze, which I assume is the original from the factory. I doubt a rental car company would've changed the antifreeze at 35,000 miles. However, it seems this orange antifreeze is only good for up to 100,000 miles, which isn't ideal for this engine. I'm puzzled as to why it came with this antifreeze from the factory. Should I flush it and replace it with the purple 150,000 miles antifreeze at 75,000 miles? I'm not sure where this question will lead, but I'm curious to know your thoughts. Thank you.
