In 2010, the Mercedes-Benz ML350 comes with two engine options: a 3.0L turbodiesel and a 3.5L naturally aspirated engine. To maintain the 3.0L engine, you should use 9.0 quarts of SAE 0W-30 full synthetic diesel oil, and for the 3.5L engine, you'll need 8.5 quarts of SAE 0W-40 full synthetic oil. Generally, it's best to use SAE 0W-30 or SAE 0W-40, but the ML350 3.5L can also handle SAE 5W-30, SAE 5W-40, or SAE 5W-50 above -13 degrees Fahrenheit. Between -4 and 5 degrees Fahrenheit, you can switch to 10W-30, 10W-40, 10W-50, or 10W-60. And from temperatures above 5 degrees, you can use 15W-30, 15W-40, and 15W-50. Additionally, above 23 degrees, you could also opt for 20W-40 and 20W-50. However, it is advisable to stick to the lower viscosity range when possible.
