In 2017, the Acura RDX model requires wiper blades of different sizes: a 26-inch blade for the driver's side and a 16-inch blade for the passenger side. The wiper arm features a 9mm X3mm hook mechanism. To remove the wiper blade, pull it towards the center of the car. When installing new blades, slide them underneath the arm and then towards the side of the car ensuring they are securely locked in place with a slight tug. It is recommended not to use the wipers on a dry windshield or in the presence of ice or frost buildup. It is advised to replace the blades at least twice a year, more frequently in dusty regions, as dirt and grime can degrade the rubber, leading to streaking and ineffective window cleaning.
