The 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee uses yellow 50/50 coolant, which can cause engine issues. Loose gaskets should be tightened promptly to prevent problems. Oil leaks must be addressed without delay. Check for loose spark plugs to prevent engine malfunctions. Overheating is a serious concern as it may lead to car fires and explosions. Look out for excessive oil consumption and change the oil promptly if needed. Replace the air filter every 15,000 to 30,000 miles, coolant every 60,000 miles, and spark plugs every 100,000 miles unless using copper spark plugs, in which case they should be changed every 30,000 miles.
