Occasionally, knowing where the blend door actuator is located in a 2012 Toyota Camry is important as they tend to fail frequently. Luckily, accessing and replacing it is not too complicated, and the part is affordably priced at under $50 in most major auto parts stores. There are separate "blend" and "mode" actuators, each positioned on one side of the center dash. To reach them, you will need to take off the trim panel on the driver's or passenger's side of the car – the passenger's side might be reachable from behind the glove box. Once you have opened it up, you will see that each actuator is secured by two bolts and a wiring harness. Swapping it out involves simply removing the bolts and installing the new actuator.

I own a 2012 Toyota Camry 2.4L and was informed that the temperature control blend door is located on the driver's side. I disassembled everything as instructed, or at least I believe I did. I have been unable to locate a video tutorial showing someone working on a similar year or model. I would greatly appreciate any assistance. Thank you.
