Oil leaks should be addressed promptly to prevent further damage. Overheating of the engine is a serious concern that can lead to fires and even the vehicle exploding. Excessive oil consumption may necessitate more frequent oil changes. It is recommended to change the coolant every 60,000 miles and replace the air filter every 15,000 to 30,000 miles. Spark plugs typically need replacement every 100,000 miles unless they are copper, in which case they should be replaced every 30,000 miles.
