Just like most other Rams, the 2019 Ram 1500 has its power outlet located in the dashboard, specifically labeled as a 12v power supply. If your vehicle doesn't come equipped with one, it's simple to install. You can easily purchase one from a dealership and have it installed directly. Remember not to connect it directly to the battery, as it can draw a high amount of power. It's recommended to add a fuse in-line for added safety. If you want to be able to turn it on and off, you can also install a switch with controls. Nowadays, many cars don't come with this feature as standard, so you may need to request it specifically from your dealership.
