You can locate the radiator drain plug of a 2005 Chevy Tahoe at the bottom of the radiator on the right side of the vehicle. This is where you can remove the coolant from your radiator and the rest of the cooling system. When you are planning to entirely replace your coolant, this is the initial step to take. I suggest acquiring a new washer each time you drain it to ensure proper resealing and to prevent potential leaks. It is advisable to replace your coolant approximately every 30,000 miles for optimal performance and to avoid engine overheating issues.
