The fuel pump control module in a 2007 Toyota Tundra can be found inside the fuel pump, which is housed within the fuel tank. This pump is responsible for generating higher pressure in the fuel lines to propel gasoline to the engine, ultimately increasing the gasoline's boiling point. A key sign of a failing fuel pump is experiencing a sputtering engine when driving at consistent high speeds. If your vehicle's engine sputters suddenly but then goes back to normal performance, it could be an indication of a fuel pump issue. It's important to note that rust, dirt, or debris in the gas tank can quickly damage a fuel pump. Rust typically affects older steel tanks, while plastic tanks may start deteriorating after 8-10 years.
It is not located in the tank; rather, it is fixed to the frame above the rear tire on the driver's side. You will find a small box with two plugs and two bolts securing it in place.

I agree with Chad on this, Barbrà. The fuel pump control module, also known as the driver's module, is located in the back behind the rear driver's wheel on the inside of the frame. In my 2007 Tundra, it measures six inches in length by four inches in width and has a four-pin plug at the top from the harness and a two-pin plug at the bottom.
